About the resistance

The Aspire Tigon Coils are available in three different resistances.

0.4 ohm
The 0.4 ohm coil is the most powerful coil. With its low resistance, it is a true sub-ohm coil. This coil can be vaped between 23 watts and 28 watts. We recommend using an e-liquid that contains no more than 70% VG. This coil produces the most vapor.

0.7 ohm (Mesh)
The 0.7 ohm coil is a mesh coil! Mesh provides a large surface area with the cotton, allowing e-liquid to be transported easily to the coil. This coil can be vaped between 20 watts and 25 watts. We recommend using an e-liquid that contains no more than 70% VG. A mesh coil usually lasts longer than regular kanthal coils.

1.2 ohm
The 1.2 ohm coil is a true Mouth-to-Lung coil. This coil provides a vaping experience similar to smoking a traditional cigarette (MTL style). You can vape this coil between 10 watts and 12 watts. We recommend using an e-liquid that contains a maximum of 50% VG.

Using the Aspire Tigon Coils

Before using a new Tigon coil, it is advisable to prime it with some e-liquid. Simply drip a few drops of e-liquid onto all the cotton areas until the cotton is fully saturated. This helps prevent a burnt taste on your first puffs from the e-cigarette. Never overtighten a coil; snug is sufficient!
