Product Information
With the Black Leaf Oil Extractor Small, you can safely and efficiently extract oil and concentrates from flowers or plant material. This compact stainless steel extractor features a protective silicone sleeve that safeguards your hands from freezing during the extraction process.
The tube can hold approximately 24 grams of plant material and operates with butane gas or preferably D.M.E. (dimethyl ether), which is less explosive, non-toxic, and more efficient. The extraction process is simple but should always be carried out outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, away from sources of heat.
Loosely fill the tube with well-dried and finely ground plant material, seal it with the rubber ring, attach the gas canister, and let the solvent flow through. The liquid extract emerges on the other side through a replaceable screen and can be collected in a heat-resistant, non-stick dish. After approximately 24 hours, the concentrate is ready for collection.
Caution: Use this extractor at your own risk. Always wear protective gloves and safety goggles. Remove the gas canister only 30 seconds after it is completely empty and thoroughly clean the tube after each use.
