Using the Boveda Butler Smart Sensor - How does it work?

Getting started with the Boveda Butler is straightforward, and the app used in conjunction with this smart sensor helps you set up the Butler. Once you have the Boveda Butler at hand, the first step is to download the Boveda app. After installing the app on your smartphone and creating an account, you can proceed to set up the Butler. The initial step is to pair the Butler with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and the app will guide you through the process. Once the Butler is connected to your smartphone, it's time to calibrate it. The Boveda Butler comes with a 1-step calibration kit, which allows you to calibrate the Butler's sensor accurately for monitoring humidity and temperature. To initiate the calibration process, open the Butler in the Boveda app and tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Scroll down to the calibration option and tap on it, then select "calibrate." Next, choose the 75% 1-step calibration and confirm your intention to calibrate the Butler. Open the 1-step calibration kit and place the Butler together with the Boveda 75% humidity pack inside the kit, ensuring a secure seal. It will take 24 hours for the Butler to calibrate properly. Keep the calibration kit at room temperature for 24 hours, and after that, the Butler will be ready for use! Place the calibrated Boveda Butler in your humidor, and you can check all the values inside the humidor at any time without having to open it.
