How to Grow with Cambodian Spore Prints?

Growing mushrooms with spore prints is an intriguing process that allows you to achieve a harvest with minimal resources. Follow the simple steps below to successfully grow your mushrooms:

Step 1: Preparation

Start by preparing a sterile medium, such as rye grains or another suitable substrate. Working hygienically is essential for optimal spore development.

Step 2: Inoculation

Using a sterile syringe or cotton swab, transfer a small amount of spores to the substrate. Then place the substrate in a closed space with a temperature of around 23-25°C.

Step 3: Growth Phase

The spores will start colonizing after a few days, with the mycelium spreading through the substrate. Once the mycelium is fully developed, the fruiting phase begins, and the first mushrooms will appear.

Step 4: Harvesting

When the mushroom caps are almost fully opened, it's time to harvest. Gently twist the mushrooms off the substrate to make room for a new harvest.

With care and patience, you can obtain multiple harvests (flushes) from a single Cambodian Sporeprint, making growing with spores both rewarding and sustainable!
