Eleaf GZ Coils

The Eleaf GZ Coils are made with kanthal wire and organic cotton. The cotton is untreated and free from bleach or other chemicals. These coils are designed for use with the Eleaf GZ system. More information about the coils can be found below.

About the resistance

The GZ coils are available in different resistances. It is recommended to use these coils with e-liquids containing a maximum of 70% VG. The inhalation style varies depending on the coil type. The MTL (mouth-to-lung) coil provides a similar experience to traditional cigarettes, while the DL (direct-to-lung) coil offers a direct lung hit, similar to a hookah.

0.2 ohm
This 0.2 ohm GZ coil is a DL coil, designed for direct lung inhales. According to the manufacturer, this coil can be used between 45 and 65 watts.

0.4 ohm
The 0.4 ohm GZ coil is a DL/MTL coil, combining both styles. The recommended wattage range for this coil is between 20 and 35 watts.

0.8 ohm
The 0.8 ohm GZ coil is an MTL coil, providing a similar inhaling experience to traditional cigarettes. It is recommended to use this coil between 12 and 18 watts.

1.2 ohm
The 1.2 ohm GZ coil is an MTL coil, offering a similar inhaling experience to traditional cigarettes. The recommended wattage range for this coil is between 7 and 13 watts.

About the coils

The GZ coils are made of kanthal wire and organic cotton. They are not suitable for temperature control vaping. The use of organic cotton helps prevent any unwanted flavors. The cotton is not bleached or treated with chemicals.

Due to the different resistances, the inhalation style varies between the DL and MTL coils. Depending on usage, it is recommended to replace the coils after 1 to 2 weeks. You may notice a decrease in flavor or a burnt taste after 2 weeks.

Using the Eleaf GZ Coils

To install a coil, simply press it into the bottom of the tank. Before using a new coil, it is advisable to prepare it by adding a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton. Once the cotton is saturated, fill the tank with e-liquid. Let the tank sit for 5 minutes before using it to ensure proper wicking.

When using a new coil, always start at a low wattage setting. This will help prolong the lifespan of the coil.
