Indian Elements Mitragyna Javanica

Mitragyna Javanica originates from South-east Asia and is a relatively rare tree from the same tree family as the much more well-known Mitragyna Speciosa (Kratom), also known as Kra Thum Na. Mitragyna Javanica contains the same active substances as Kratom, but in smaller quantities.

The effects of Mitragyna Javanica are described as mildly euphoric, pain-relieving, slightly stimulating, and mood-enhancing. Similar to Kratom, the potential effect depends on the dosage used.

How are these herbs used?

Herbal tea is usually made with Mitragyna Hirsuta, with 10 to 20 grams considered an average dose per cup of tea. Pour boiling water over the herbs and let them steep for about 30 minutes. Strain the tea and drink it slowly over approximately 20 minutes.
