Indian Elements Skullcap

Skullcap (Scutellaria Lateriflora) is a plant from the mint family and originates from North America. The plant grows to about 50cm in height and is mainly found along waterways and in swamp forests.

Effects of Indian Elements Skullcap

Skullcap is widely used in Chinese herbal medicine and is said to have a relaxing effect on the body, help to sleep better and deeper, and maintain a healthy nervous system. It may also help to alleviate physical pain and headaches.

How are these herbs used?

Skullcap is usually used to make tea. 1 gram is considered a normal dose, add it to hot water and let it steep for a few minutes before drinking the tea. The ideal vaporization temperature is around 150-200°C.
