Joyetech BF Coils

The Joyetech BF coils are made of stainless steel wire (SS316L) or Kanthal and are wrapped with 100% organic cotton. BF stands for "Bottom Feed," which means that the coils draw e-liquid from the bottom to properly saturate the cotton!

About the Resistance

The Joyetech BF coils are available in 4 different resistances:

0.5 ohm
The wire in this coil is made of stainless steel (SS316L), making it suitable for temperature control vaping. The vaping experience of this coil is similar to that of a hookah (Direct Lung). We recommend using the coils between 15W - 30W with an e-liquid containing a maximum of 60% VG.

0.6 ohm
The wire in this coil is made of stainless steel (SS316L), making it suitable for temperature control vaping. The vaping experience of this coil is similar to that of a hookah (Direct Lung). We recommend using the coils between 16W - 28W with an e-liquid containing a maximum of 50% VG.

1.0 ohm
The wire in this coil is made of stainless steel (SS316L), making it suitable for temperature control vaping. The vaping experience of this coil is similar to that of a traditional cigarette (Mouth-to-Lung). We recommend using the coils between 10W - 15W with an e-liquid containing a maximum of 50% VG.

1.5 ohm
With a Clapton wire made of Kanthal, this coil is best vaped between 8W - 20W with an e-liquid containing no more than 50% VG. The vaping experience of this coil is similar to that of a traditional cigarette (Mouth-to-Lung).

About the Use of Joyetech BF Coils

Drop e-liquid on all visible cotton areas to saturate it before installing the coil. This is also known as "priming." Insert the coil by screwing it into the bottom of your tank. Do not overtighten it, as snug is sufficient. After filling the tank, you can start vaping with the coil. Always start with a low wattage for the first few draws.

The coil should be replaced after 1 to 2 weeks. If you taste a burnt cotton flavor, it's time to replace the coil. This can occur due to age, too much VG in your e-liquid, or using a wattage that is too high. Never vape your tank completely dry!
