How Does the Cultivation Process Work?

The process starts with thoroughly cleaning your hands and the outside of the ampoule to remove all bacteria. Use a sterile cloth or alcohol for this. Then, use the provided sterile syringe to extract the liquid culture from the ampoule.

Loosen the cap of the ampoule slightly to prevent a vacuum from forming, then draw up the liquid with the syringe. Carefully inject it into your chosen substrate, such as a ready-to-grow kit or a self-made mix of grain or rice.

After injecting the culture, it's important to keep the substrate at a constant temperature of around 23 degrees Celsius. This creates the ideal conditions for mycelium growth. Within a few days, you will see the first signs of mycelium growth, and after a few weeks, you will be ready to harvest your mushrooms!
