About the Resistance

There are different resistances available for the SMOK LP1 coils. These coils are best vaped with an e-liquid that contains no more than 70% VG due to the thickness of the liquid.

0.8 Ohm Mesh
The 0.8 ohm coil is a Mouth-to-Lung coil that mimics the inhalation style of a cigarette. You can use this coil at around 12 watts.

0.8 Ohm MTL
The 0.8 ohm MTL coil is a Mouth-to-Lung coil that you vape in the same way as you smoke a cigarette. You can use this coil between 12 and 15 watts.

About the Coils

Both coils are designed for Mouth-to-Lung vaping, where you draw the vapor into your mouth and then inhale into your lungs. The coils are made with organic cotton, and they are available in either kanthal wire or mesh. A coil will typically last 1 to 2 weeks before needing to be replaced.

Using the SMOK LP1 Coils

Before installing the coil, it is recommended to prime it by adding a few drops of e-liquid to the top of the coil or onto the side openings of the cotton. This helps prevent the coil from burning immediately upon first use. Insert the coil into the bottom of the pod; there is no need to tighten the coil.
