The SMOK m17 coils are small but powerful! They are available in 2 resistances and are made of Kanthal wire and 100% organic cotton.
About the Resistance
The coils have different resistances, and therefore, the recommended wattage for optimal performance varies.
0.4 ohm
A coil with full vapor production and great flavor. It is best used between 10W - 25W with e-liquids containing no more than 70% VG.
0.6 ohm
The 0.6 ohm resistance provides medium vapor production and smooth inhalation. The recommended wattage for this coil is between 8W - 25W with e-liquids containing no more than 70% VG.
About the Coil
The coils come in packs of 5, which will last you for approximately one month. On average, a coil can last for 1 to 2 weeks. If you experience a burnt taste, it is usually because you are vaping the coil at too high of a voltage or wattage, or you are using an e-liquid with more than 70% VG.
Using the SMOK Priv M17 Coils
Before placing a coil in your tank, it is recommended to prime it. Priming involves moistening the coil with e-liquid: apply a few drops of e-liquid to all the white cotton areas of the coil and then screw the coil into the bottom of the tank. Never overtighten the coil; tighten it until it is snug. After placing the coil, let it sit for about 10 minutes before using it. This helps prevent a burnt taste and ensures the longevity of your coil.
