SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast Coils

The SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast Coils are sub-ohm coils designed for the TFV8 Baby Beast tank! The different coils can be used in a wide range of wattages!

About the resistance

The TFV8 Baby Beast coils are available in four different variants. All coils are suitable for Direct-Lung vaping and use Kanthal wire and 100% organic cotton. For all coils, it is recommended to use e-liquids containing no more than 70% VG.

V8-T8
The V8-T8 coil has a resistance of 0.15 ohm and uses Kanthal wire. The V8-T8 features 8 coils in the coil head! Due to the lower resistance, you can vape this coil between 50W - 110W. The best results are achieved between 60W and 80W. This coil will provide the most vapor production.

V8-X4
The V8-X4 coil has a resistance of 0.15 ohm and uses Kanthal wire. The "X4" in the name refers to the number of coils, as this coil head contains 4 coils that are all heated. You can vape this coil between 30W - 70W. We recommend vaping this coil between 45W - 60W.

Q2-0.4 ohm
The Q2-0.4 ohm coil uses Kanthal wire and has a resistance of 0.4 ohm. Due to the slightly higher resistance, you can vape this coil between 40W and 80W. For the best coil lifespan, we recommend vaping this coil between 55W - 65W.

Q2-0.6 ohm
The Q2-0.6 ohm coil uses Kanthal wire and has a resistance of 0.6 ohm. Due to the higher resistance, you can use this coil between 20W - 50W. Our recommendation is to vape this coil between 30W - 40W. This coil will provide the least vapor production among the available coils.

Using the SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast Coils

When installing a new coil, always start with priming. Apply e-liquid to all visible cotton areas until it is saturated before placing it. Install the coil by screwing it into the bottom of your tank, making sure not to overtighten it. Once you have filled the tank, let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the liquid to fully soak into the coil.

The coil should be replaced after 1 to 2 weeks. If you taste a burnt cotton flavor, it's time to replace the coil. This can be due to aging, high VG content in your e-liquid, or using a wattage that is too high. Never vape your tank completely dry!
