Vaporesso GT Cores

The Vaporesso GT Cores are sub-ohm coils. Depending on the type, the coils contain multiple wire coils for fast heating of the e-liquid. The coils are made of kanthal or mesh.

About the resistance

GT4
With a resistance of 0.15 ohm and four coils in the coilhead, this coil provides medium to high vapor production. It is best used between 45 and 60 watts.

GT8
Also with a resistance of 0.15 ohm, the GT8 coil has eight coils in the coil. This results in large vapor production at higher wattages. It is best used between 60 and 80 watts.

GT MESH
The GT MESH is different from the other GT Core coils as it features a mesh coil with a resistance of 0.18 ohm. By utilizing mesh instead of kanthal wire to heat the e-liquid, the material is in more contact with the cotton, enhancing e-liquid absorption. These coils are best used at wattages between 50 and 90 watts.

About the coil

The wire inside the coil is made of kanthal or mesh, allowing for quick heating of the coils. The different coils are designed for Direct-Lung vaping, which means the inhaling method is similar to that of a hookah: the vapor is directly drawn into the lungs. The range of the coils, in terms of voltage or wattage, varies per coil. Therefore, ensure that your e-cigarette is properly adjusted for the specific coil! If you taste a burnt flavor, it's time to replace the coil. This usually occurs after 1 to 2 weeks.

Using the Vaporesso GT Cores

The coils are packed in sets of 3, providing approximately one month of use. When replacing a coil, it's important to allow the e-liquid to saturate the coil properly. It is recommended to moisten the cotton of the coil with some e-liquid before installing it in the tank. Let the tank sit with e-liquid for 10 minutes before using it.
