Starterset coils

The coils on this page are suitable for starter kit vapes! These are Mouth-to-Lung coils, which generally have a high resistance. As a result, these coils provide a vaping experience similar to smoking a traditional cigarette. A coil typically lasts between 1 to 2 weeks before it needs to be replaced.

Starter Kit Coils

Now that you have purchased a starter kit, you will need coils as well! Coils are responsible for vaporizing the e-liquid. A coil typically lasts between 1 to 2 weeks before it needs to be replaced. Towards the end of the coil's lifespan, you may notice a decrease in flavor and vapor production. You might even taste a burnt cotton flavor! That's when you know it's time to replace your coils with new ones!

Coils - Different Resistances

You can purchase starter kit coils in different resistances! The resistance indicates how the coil will perform in your e-cigarette. The resistance of a coil is usually measured in "ohms." The ohm value tells us how easily current can flow between two points. Lower resistance means less resistance, allowing current to flow easily from point A to point B.

Higher Resistances with Starter Kit Coils

Starter kit coils often have higher resistances compared to sub-ohm coils, for example. This is because less vaporization is required in a starter kit. The higher resistance causes the coil to heat up more slowly and to a lesser extent. With less heat produced, the e-liquid doesn't vaporize as quickly.

When using starter kits, coils with higher resistances are commonly used. This means a resistance above 1.0 ohm. Typically, the resistance of a starter kit coil ranges between 1.2 and 1.8 ohms. There are a few exceptions to this rule, as some starter kit coils can go as low as 0.7 ohm.
