Sub-Ohm coils

Sub-ohm coils are powerful coils with a resistance below 1.0 ohm. Often, the resistance is even lower! Sub-ohm coils require a high discharge from the battery, so it's important to choose a mod that can handle the resistance of the coil. In general, sub-ohm coils perform better with high VG e-liquids compared to starter kit coils. A coil typically lasts between 1 to 2 weeks before it needs to be replaced.

Prima service en snel geleverd. Was een beetje huiverig door een paar slechte reviews. Maar gewoon volgens afspraak alles netjes geleverd👍🏻

Sub-Ohm Coils

If you want to buy sub-ohm coils, then continue reading! We will explain all aspects of a sub-ohm coil here, so you can easily make an informed choice about which sub-ohm coil to buy!

What Does Sub-Ohm Mean?

The resistance of a coil is measured in "ohms." Ohms indicate how easily current can flow from point A to point B. When the ohm value is lower, current can flow more easily between two points. Since current can flow more easily, the coil becomes warmer. Coils with a resistance below 1.0 ohm are called sub-ohm coils.

Sub-Ohm Coils - Low Resistance

Sub-ohm coils are known for their low resistance. Often, a sub-ohm coil has a resistance of 0.4 ohm or lower. "Officially," any coil below 1.0 ohm is considered a sub-ohm coil, but in practice, the resistances of sub-ohm coils are much lower than that.

Lower Resistance, More Vapor

In general, lower resistance means more vapor. Due to the lower resistance, you can increase the wattage. Sub-ohm coils often require wattages above 40 watts and sometimes even exceed 100 watts. The recommended wattage is indicated on the coil. Keep in mind that when you buy sub-ohm coils, they consume more e-liquid compared to other coils.
